Hello!  And Welcome To My First Blog!

I've never blogged before!  In fact, until recently I wasn't really sure what it was or meant...but my youngest daughter gave me insight into this way of letting people know what you are doing while she was home for the holidays from college!

So, I'm going to give it a try!  First, if you're just meeting me, I'm a weaver, sewer, needleworker, spinner, knitter and have recently started home-improvement/wallboard/tile worker in our newest home!  Since my eyes are not what they used to be, needlework has fallen a bit by the wayside unless I'm in really bright light.  I started sewing when I was eleven when I made my first pair of hip-hugger, bell-bottom pants (yes, I'm dating myself!), and my interest in fiber arts has grown from that very dated start.  I have written a bit more about my love of fiber arts in my store bio description, if you're interested.

I have been sewing make up bags and selling them on Etsy for the last few years.  After making a move because of my husband's job, I was finally able to get my sewing machines and weaving looms out again and have really spent a lot of time getting that organized and sewing and weaving up items.  

With things developing more, I have decided to take another step towards getting a real "style" to my Etsy store, and will be debuting the new "look" in the next week or so.  Keep an eye out for the new banner design and to celebrate I will be offering a special sale coupon here on my blog to celebrate that start as well once the new look is up!
